Research Topic:       A Survey of the People’s Opinions  on  Listening to the Community  Radio in   Disseminating Buddhism : A Case Study of the Radio  Station    of   Wat Samphran, Wat Nayrong and   Wat Cholprathanrangsarit

                         This is a survey research with the purpose of studying and surveying  the people’s opinions on listening to the community radio in disseminating Buddhism: A case study of  the radio station of Wat Samphran, Wat Nayrong and Wat Cholprathanrangsarit. Data collection,  researchers material are collected data from the sample group of people who listen to the radio that disseminates Buddhism through  the community radio of the three items by systematic random sampling that uses the formula of Taro Yamane in random sampling for each area having been used as the sample group. The number of sample groups consist of 400 persons. The analysis of data uses the statistics such as percentage, mean  () and Standard deviation. (SD)

                           The result of research

              The survey of the people’s opinions on listening to the community radio in disseminating Buddhism concerning the evaluation  using the radio media in disseminating Buddhism was found that, for the overview, the evaluation is mostly at the high level. With respect to knowledge and ability, working skill, mass media of Dhamma host  and  the ability in receiving the radio media in disseminating Buddhism are found in high level. The signifying of community radio has greatly influenced over  learning process and perception toward the changing of the way of life of the people.

                       The survey of the people’s opinions to study of  dissemination quality of Buddhism at the present time was found that for the overview, evaluation on using the radio media in disseminating of Buddhism when considering the aspect of  Buddhism toward the  society. It is at the highest level which means that the principle, way of thinking  the performance of Buddhism have played important roles in helping people and participating in bringing happiness to the society. Besides, with regard to Dhamma principle and Buddhism toward  economy which is considered to be at the highest level. For the respect of Buddhism toward politics, it is in low level. The signifying of the development on politics and governance of Thailand is not successful. There are still conflicts in Thai society, lacks of  good governance and/or lacks of the rule of law as their basic thoughts. So it is very necessary in providing  support and use of the Dhamma principle for the planning and being the strategy in developing the permanent integrated nation.                 

                  The survey of the people’s opinions on problems and obstacles in using the radio media in disseminating Buddhism for  the community radio of the three areas was found on the overview, the presentation of Dhamma principle for almost aspects has been greatly successful and  efficient. As for the part to be improved,  the media should take into account the presentation by applying the Dhamma principle to  be more in accordance with the current situation. Every kind of  technology communication system   has to be fully. The dissemination network should be set up  in order to be in accord with contemporary society. In addition, media arena should be more used for being the lifetime source of learning for Buddhist people.
