Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

The main objectives of this research are:- (1) to study the human resource development in accordance with Tisikkha of Naval Military Police Regiment,             (2) to compare the human resource development in accordance with Tisikkha of Naval Military Police Regiment, and (3) to study problems, barriers, advices and guideline for the development of human resource according Tisikkha of Naval Military Police Regiment. The sample of this study consisted of 269 officers of Naval Military Police Regiment drawn from 899 population by Cluster sampling technique. Tool used for collecting the data was questionnaire about officers’ opinions to develop human resource according to Tisikkha in Naval Military Police Regiment and having the reliability value equal to 0.925. The data analysis was employed by using ready-made for social science research. Statistics used to analyze data were the frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation. To compare the opinions of the population towards the human resource development according Tisikkha in Naval Military Police Regiment, the employed statistics were t-test in the case of the two groups variables, F-test  with the analysis of variance (One way analysis of variance) and Least Significant Difference: LSD.

 

The Finding of the research were concluded as follows:

1. The overall opinions of personnel toward the human resource development according to Tisikkha in Naval Military Police Regiment were found at high level ( = 4.23) . When considering from each aspect, it was noticed that morality (training, development and behavior) was found at highest mean ( = 4.41) while wisdom (intelligence development) was found at lowest mean ( = 4.04), respectively.

2. The results of comparison of Naval personnel to develop human resource in Tisikkha by sex, age, education, working age and class showed that personal factors have resulted in personnels have opinions on development of  human resource by Tisikkha had statistical significant defference at 0.01 level. And sexual personal factor was noticed that having statistical significant difference at 0.05 level, so accepting the set hypothesis. 

             3. Problems and obstacles of the human resource development according to Tisikkha in Naval Military Police Regiment was noticed that; (1) Most of officers have little understanding and don’t know how to practice when seeing situation which is obstacle to have the precept, (2) a sense of tension when encounter problems or urgency in expectation for the success of the work, and(3) training and development to cope with advances in technology have changed dramatically and need to develop ability to rise in working.

             Suggestions and guidelines for  human resource development according to Tisikkha need to add the development to a process of complete development. According to the development of a new generation to meet objectives and goals set by the principles of morality, concentration and wisdom, i.e. to develop the body, the mind and the wisdom that can be applied to the development of human resources as the main Tisikkha in Naval Military Police Regiment.
