This research on "A Study of the Gratefulness Principles Pound in God and Godess Parade Convention of Paknampho Chinese New Year Festival in Nakhon Sawan Province " hod 3 objectives : 1) to study the faith and custom of Chinese people 2) to study the God and Godess Parade Convention of Paknampho Chinese New Year Festival in Nakhon Sawan Province and 3) to study the gratefulness principles found in God and Godess Parade Convention of Paknampho Chinese New Year Festival in Nakhon Sawan Province. This study was carried on through gualitative research by Documentary Study and In-Depth Interviews with key informarits.

The results of this study revealed as the following :

           1. Chinese people had their residences in China. They were ethnological people who had been carrying on their history with long last continuity since 21st century before  Chinese people have settled down their residences in different regions around the world and had reputation on cleverness and patience. In Thailand, Chinese people migrated since Krung Sri Ayudhya period through early Rattanakosin period. Nakhon Sawan Province was a community for trade where Chinese people lived for great amount. It appeared clearly in the Reign of King Rama that Chinese people located both in the mainland of China and in different countries including Thailand had brought the faith and customs which were their own uniqueness to practice strictly and became well-known. One of the important custom of Chinese people was the Chinese New Year Festival which each community would celebrate of its own uniqueness and enormousness.

           2. Nakhon Sawan Province started to handle and manage the God and Godess Parade Convention of Paknampho Chinese New Year Festival after the spreading of diarrhoea in 1917-1919. Paknampho people were down in troubles with several sick people and some were dead because modern medication was not disseminated. The doctors could not cure the patients, so they asked for help from God to get rid of the diseases by handling the ceremony called "Kao Song" and writing on Hu pbaper, then burnt it and put it in drinking water which could cure the patients to be better from the diseases they had got before. This had caused the fame of God Theparak holiness, therefore, when the time of Chinese New Year Festival came up, males of Chinese race invited God The parak into the Parade Convention around the market place for auspicious Ceremony and for their lives and families as well. Since then, "God and Godess Parade Convention of Paknampho Chinese New Year Festival" had been handled with hugh parade and became the most important custom of Nakhon sawan Province nowadays.

          3. The gratefulness appeared in Theravada Buddhism meant behaviors of the one who was patronized and needed to reciprocate the patronage by setting up into 6 pairs as : 1) A child should reciprocate his parents for their patronage, 2) A pupil should reciprocate his teachers for their kindness, 3) A Buddhist clansman should serve monks and Brahmins for reciprocation, 4) A wife should reciprocate and show her love for her husband, 5) Friends and associates should serve and reciprocate for their friendship and 6) Servants and workmen should serve, reciprocate and show love for their bosses. For the gratefulness appeared in Khong Juism which was the original faith of Chinese people emphasized on a child to reciprocate his parents by taking the best care when they were alive and paying respect to them when they passed away, including meant to pay respect to the nature as the sky and the land. And for the gratefulness found in God and Godess Parade Convention of Paknampho Chinese New Year Festival in Nakhon Sawan Province, it disclosed that the concept of Buddhism was applied to be used such as to worship the virtue of Pra Bhothisatawalokitesuan or Godess Kuan im, praised the monk as Pra Tungsumjung and also Godess of Paknampho who helped the people to be safe from diarrhoea in the past. There had been done good merit for the ancestors, reciprocated friends and associates by giving special welcome and greetings and realized of the nature obligation by focusing on worship and request which were abstractness creating from deeply mental and showed off in the form of ceremony which could encourage the behaviors into the form of figureness and could bring to use and apply in real way of life.
