ABSTRACT

This thesis is of 3 objects ; 1) To study the viewpoint about the peace in Buddhadassa Bhikku’s view point. 2) To study Sayyid Qutub’s view point. 3) To study comparison on peace.

From the research, It is found that in the point of the meaning of the peace,Ven.Buddhadassa is of the idea that that the peace at the individual level  the social level and  the Worldly level. Ven.Buddhadassa Bhikkhu taught the peace to be in the peace by cultivate the morality of Religion.   Sayyid Qutub was of the idea that at the beginning the persons must be of the peace, the justice, the Strength and the belief in Islamism.

In comparison on peace, It is found that  Ven.Buddhadassa Bhikkhu and  Sayyid  Qutub  said that the peace was of the importance  for every life. On  the side of the difference, Ven.Buddhadassa Bhikkhu gave  the meaning  of Santi-Dhamma, but Sayyid Qutub  gave the meaning of the peace according to the Islamic method which is difference from Ven. Buddhadassa Bhikkhu’s viewpoint that the confusion in the peace arose from the human being, but Sayyid Qutub said  that the God built up the human make for leading the lives to be in completions with correctness.
