Abstract

 

Abstract

              The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the performance motivation of the government officers and the employees of Court of Justice, Nakhon Sawan Province, 2) to study the factors relating to the performance motivation of the government officers and the employees of Court of Justice, Nakhon Sawan Province, and 3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions for the performance motivation of the government officers and the employees of Court of Justice, Nakhon Sawan Province.

          This research applied the Mixed Methods Research consisting of the qualitative and quantitative research. The sample was 144 the government officers and the employees of Court of Justice, Nakhon Sawan Province from 226 populations by the Taro Yamane formula. The tools of the research were questionnaire with the 0.985 of reliability and in-Depth interview from the 7 key informants. The statistics for analysis data used Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and Chi-Square Test.

 

Results of the Research

 

              1. Overall, the level of the performance motivation of the government officers and the employees of Court of Justice, Nakhon Sawan Province was at the middle level (= 3.08). When considering each aspect, it arranged from the high to low level: the responsibility (= 3.14), the acceptance (= 3.13), the quality of the work (= 3.08), the progress in the working position (= 3.04), and the success of the working (= 3.02).  

 

2. The result of studying the relationship between the personal factor and the performance motivation of the government officers and the employees of Court of Justice, Nakhon Sawan Province found that sex, age, degree of education, income and position related to the performance motivation of the government officers and the employees of Court of Justice, Nakhon Sawan Province at 0.05 of statistical significance. Therefore, the hypothesis was accepted.

              3. The problems, obstacles, and suggestions for the performance motivation of the government officers and the employees of Court of Justice, Nakhon Sawan Province were that the personnel had not the opportunity to apply the knowledge and ability and experience in the working. The personnel could not do the assignment on time. Some commanders did not admire the working of the personnel. Some personnel were not satisfied in working and a part of the participation in the success of the organization. Sometimes, some work was unsuitable to the personnel.

The suggestions were that the commander should upgrade to the personnel from the ability in working appropriately, and suggest the personnel in the working to get the experience and the expert in the working. Moreover, the commander should give the importance to the feeling of the personnel as a part of the organization’s success.
