             This thesis has the following three objectives. 1) To study the administrators’ roles in promoting classroom research doing at school under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service area office 2.  2) To compare the schools administrator’s roles with the differing gender, age, work experience, and school sizes, in promoting classroom research doing at school under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service area office 2.  3) To study suggestions  ways to promote the school administrators’ roles in promoting classroom research doing at school under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service area office 2.                   By determining a sample size according to the Krejcie and Morgan table, the studied sample consisted of 132 school administrators under under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service area office 2.  The instrument used for data collection was in the form of a questionnaire that the researcher created. The data was analyses using a computer program. The statistics used include percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-statistic (t-test), F-test values, and tests of the mean difference between matched pairs based on the LSD (Least Significant Difference) method.

             The results found

             1) The administrators’ roles in promoting classroom research doing at school under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service area office 2. was at an overall high level. When considering each aspect, the following was found : The aspect of prioritizing research in classrooms had the highest mean. Second to that was the aspect of acknowledging and giving respect to teachers conducting research in classrooms. The aspect of fostering the conduction of research in classrooms had the lowest mean.

             2) The results of comparing the schools administrator’s roles and differing gender, age, work experience, and school sizes, in promoting classroom research doing at school under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service area office 2,  found that ; at a statistical significance level of .05, there was no difference

          3) Suggestions related ways to promote the school administrators’ roles in promoting classroom research doing at school under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service area office 2, found that the aspect with the highest frequency was fostering the conduction of research in classrooms. That is : encouraging teachers to use the Internet to search for information for research in classrooms ; a teacher’s faculty briefing meeting, informing the plan’s purpose and mandatory roles of teachers conducting research, to improve teaching and procure a source of funding to support the conduction of research in the classroom.
