Abstract

Abstract

 

            The purposes of this research were: 1) to study a participation in supporting  students’ desired characteristics in the schools of Trang Primary Educational Service Area 2, 2) to compare the level of a participation in supporting students’ desired characteristics in the schools of Trang Primary Educational Service Area 2, and 3) to study the suggestions in a participation in supporting students’ desired characteristics in the schools of Trang Primary Educational Service Area 2. The samplings were collected from 285 of the school administrators and teachers in Trang Primary Educational Service Area2 in 2015’s academic year. The instruments used in the study were questionnaires designed by researcher. The data analysis and statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test and Scheffe’ Method.

 

            The results found

1. A participation in supporting students’ desired characteristics in the schools of Trang Primary Educational Service Area 2 was at the high level in general and all aspects of study. They are put in order from high to low as the following: the patriotic- religious- king, sufficiency, the attention to learn, the honesty, the discipline, the public mind, the commitment to work, Thai tradition.

2.The result of the data analysis in comparing a participation in supporting  students’ desired characteristics in the schools of Trang Primary Educational Service Area 2 with work experience of the school administrators and teachers is different with statistical significance of 0.05 level and with sex, age, and position of the school administrators and teachers is not different with statistical significance.

3.The suggestions in supporting a participation in supporting students’ desired characteristics should be the duty of the parents and the teachers to provide an environment of  the  moral  and  ethical growth. The depictions of morality and ethics in teaching courses and learning activities should be on the right track from the primary school.
