This research consisted of objectives: i) to study development of the Nakhonchaiburin Thai Silk Entrepreneur’s potential; ii) to explore demand and supply chains of based economics of the Nakhonchaiburin Thai Silk Entrepreneur; and             iii) to analyze the based economic security of the Nakhonchaiburin Thai Silk Entrepreneur.

    The research was conducted by the mixed methods: quantitative and qualitative research. For the quantitative research, data were collected from 345 of the sampling group. As for the qualitative research, data were collected by interviewing 32 key informants and focus group discussion with 12 key informants. The data collection was conducted by questionnaires and the structured interview. The data of quantitative research were analyzed by statistics: frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Meanwhile, the data of qualitative research from documentaries, non-participant observation and in-depth interview were analyzed by context and descriptive analysis techniques.
