A Study of the Speech Principle of Dale Carnegie Based on the Speech Principle in Theravada Buddhism

Abstract

            This research there are 3 objectives : (1) to study the principles of speaking in the Del Carnegie: (2) to study the principles of speaking in the view of Buddhism; and (3) to analyze the principles of the Del Carnegie speech in accordance with Theravada Buddhism; This study is a documentary research.

              The research found that

               Dale Carnegie is the name given to those who have produced speech programs; The Del Carnegie Course, which introduces the psychology of applied arts in the practicing of speaking. While Speaking in Buddhism called Vacisucrita 4 (good action in speech; not to say false, do not speak rough, does not say it. Do not talk There are also other words that are verbal, proverbial, verbal, verbal, etc.

              The Principles of Speaking of Del Carnegie based on the vision of Buddhism Summarized as follows; Carnegie brings practice coaching, to accomplish public speaking technique 4 points (1) Experiential of others learning of cycle theory (2) set up destination in front (3) set a goal for success (4) When you speak of training an every opportunity and kindly speak be well-arranged. From this point it is concluded; the first one corresponds with the principle of Dhamma ‘Hearing or learning from others or Paratogosa. The second one corresponds with the principle of Dhamma ‘Whatever could have been or should have been, doesn't matter’. The third corresponds ‘Just do this waiting for this day’. And the final the fourth one corresponds with the principle of Dhamma ‘Humans are good by training. And good at every opportunity’.
