The purposes of the research titled “ An application of the Four Paths of Accomplishment  for the students’ learning management of Mathayomsuksa 1-3 of Phrapariyattidhamma school in the section of General Education of Wat Suttathip in Nonghan District, Udonthani Province” were; 1) to study the importance of the Four Paths of Accomplishment in the Buddhist scriptures of Theravada Buddhism 2) to study the present condition and problems in the students’ learning management in junior education in the level 1-3 in Phrapariyattidhamma school in the section of General Education in Wat Srisuttathip of Nonghan District, Udonthani Province and 3) to study the application of the Four Paths of Accomplishment towards the students’ learning in the Junior Education in the level of 1-3 in Phrapariyattidhamma School in the section of General Education in Wat Srisuttathip of Nonghan District, Udonthani Province. This research was the qualitative research and to collect the data from field study and report the results of study in descriptive analysis.

The results of this research were found that the concept of the Four Paths of accomplishment taught by the Lord Buddha that the Four Paths of Accomplishment consist of 4 components, that is, Chanda means an aspiration, that is, to create the satisfaction in doing the wholesome, namely to wish to perform higher level, Viraya means a mental effort, Right speech, Citta means an effort to be determined, to remark an effort and not to be free from the burdens, Vimamsa means an investigation, not to be delusion. Phra Brahmakunapon (P.A. Payutto) expressed his attitude concerning the Four Paths of Accomplishment that the Four Paths of Accomplishment are the up-to date principle of Dhamma and the Paths of accomplishment for the practitioners and to be divided into four categories, viz.

chanda means love to work, satisfied with that thing, Viriya means diligent to work, Citta means to attend to work Vimamsa means to work with wisdom, that is, to investigate with wisdom. Phramedhidhammapon (Prayoon Dhammacitto) said that the Four Paths of Accomplishment, in addition to be the virtue leading to successfulness, the Four paths of Accomplishment are the Ayuvattanadhamma, namely, this Dhamma is the cause of prolonging the age also. The Four Paths of Accomplishment are based on each other such as where there is Chanda, there is an effort, where there is an effort, there is always an attention and giving a chance for wisdom to contemplate.

The way to apply the Four Paths of Accomplishment for the learning management of students, administrators, teachers to manage the activities in order to make students realize of the benefits and value of the Four Paths of Accomplishment  in various forms such as to train the virtue and morality every day in front of the flag post, saying about the personal history or the students who succeed in learning and get the highest score and rewards in various competitions in the case of usage of the Four Paths of Accomplishment. Beside this, the teachers apply the virtue concerning the Four Paths of Accomplishment in various occasions such the camp of training virtue and morality. The lecturers stress on the virtue concerning the Four Paths of Accomplishment as importance.

The results of application of the four Paths of Accomplishment for the occupation and the present situations and problems in the students’ learning management must use the principle of Dhamma, viz. the principle of Dhamma is used for successfulness of work, that is, Chanda is satisfied for learning and teaching as importance. If they do, they have to take responsibility in learning administration and must take care of good learning as well. Viriya is an effort in learning, that is, must pay attention to do and take higher responsibility in order to receive the good results and good qualities. Citta is to attend to learning and work. When they do, they require many things in accordance with required things. Vimamsa is the investigation, that is, always to improve in everyday. Because there must have good learning and teaching and the successfulness must be received, they must seek for knowledge and know the kinds of work. While learning in order to have an experience as they required. From study, it can be seen that the importance, advantage and virtue of the Four Paths of Accomplishment towards administrators, teachers including the students’ learning in the Junior Education in the level of 1-3 of Phrapariyattidhamma School in the section of General Education in Wat Srisutathip.
