An Analysis of Buddhist Satisfactory Behavior in Applying the Technological Communication of the Students in the Buddhist College in Nongkhai Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were; 1. to study the opinions and theory related to the behavior in applying the technological communication  2. To study the satisfactory behavior in applying the Buddhist satisfactory behavior in applying the technological communication of the students of the Buddhist college in Nokhai Province and 3. To analyze the Buddhist satisfactory behavior in applying the technological communication of the students in the Buddhist college, this research was the qualitative research and to study the from Tipitaka and the secondary sources, that is, the academic documents, documents, research and to interview the key informants and to bring the results from analysis for proposing by using the descriptive analysis.

The results of the research were found that the behavior in applying the technological communication is one of part of the process of searching and accessible to the communication. This behavior may occur in various informs such as the user may apply the system of informal communication, that is, the system does not perform the duties related to the main communication but it may result in the detail data related to the required communication. The technological communication can produce the benefits towards human beings such as the education assists the convenient studies.

The students’ behaviors in applying various technological communications shows the students of Nongkhai Buddhist college using the technological communication for the sake of various benefits such as using them for searching the educational data, for communication, for spiritual development and production for teaching medias including the private works or the Sanghas’ works. The technological communication is one of academies that the Buddhist monks should study and the community of Sanghas should enhance the monks to have the chance to study increasingly by applying the analytical knowledge, that is, to know the meaning and the principle for sake of the benefits from the technological communication by knowing what it should be and it can be explained. The Buddhist teaching can be understood by the contemporary people. The benefits obtained from the technological application of the students are the aspect of the communication that can receive the communicative data and the educational benefits result in the related data with learning and teaching effectively and the students’ weakness in applying the technological communication too much will result in the physical weakness of their health and the weakness produces the effectiveness for the Sanghas too.

The analysis the Buddhist satisfactory behaviors in applying the technological communication of the students in the Nongkhai Buddhist college from the study finds both goodness and weakness in applying the technological communication for education and Buddhism and for the daily life together with the students’ education. This makes us to understand both goodness and weakness of application in the educational aspect, that is to say, the students can search the data easily and can produce the data bases for application in order to share the data in the classroom for resulting in the process of learning outside the books and it will enhance the learning continuously and to work the assignment completely. While for application of the technological communication for propagation of Buddhism, it will create the important data bases such as to propagate the Buddhist important teachings, the method to Dhamma practice, to develop the mindfulness, to practice the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, the method to walk up and down and to sit for meditation. All these applications of technological communication can produce the data bases to use the benefits every time just to have the computer to communicate with data to make people who get interested to use the benefits of the students’ data bases in the Nongkhai Buddhist college, that will produce the results of work and to enhance the social morality. While the weakness of applying the technological communication are that the students do know how to post the data on line, this will produce the weakness for both students themselves and the educational institute etc. and weakness for them is to use the telephone for a long time, they cannot take a rest and when they enter the classroom, they will not have the meditation for learning and they will fail for their examination and for the next results it will effect on their sights because they use the computer and telephone for a long time.
